​​Premiered at The Vancouver Youth Choir's "Brave New World" concert in 2022. Whether it’s dawn or dusk, there is rich beauty in the colours that surround us. Nightfall is an experiment in conveying the stretch of time during extraordinary life events. Harmonic textures and ostinato patterns are used together to create a sense of the push and pull of time, giving the listener the chance to  experience the music in slow and fast motion. The text conveys these images further by describing these textures visually – the sun and moon’s dance in light and time.
